Privacy

This website is operated by Kvetinovi.cz, studio s.r.o., company ID 17661625, registered at Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic. For questions about your data, contact jan@kvetinovi.cz.

The form requires your message, name, email address and favourite dinosaur. Please don't include sensitive personal data or confidential client information.

I use these details to respond to your enquiry and, when you ask about working together, to take steps towards a contract. For other enquiries, the basis is my legitimate interest in answering correspondence. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.

Messages are delivered to my Hostinger mailbox. The form first stores your message in a private delivery queue. Pending and failed messages remain there until recovered. After email delivery, message content is removed from the queue; receipt metadata is retained for seven days to prevent duplicate submissions. Your browser also keeps a draft in tab session storage for up to a day, clearing it after confirmed receipt. Correspondence is kept for two years after the last message, unless a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims needs it longer; then it is deleted.

The website and its email are hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. Email delivery also involves the email provider you use. Processing locations and transfer safeguards are described in Hostinger's privacy and data-processing terms.

On a first visit, Hostinger's network can run a short browser check and set an hcdn cookie, so later requests are not checked again. The contact form uses a temporary session cookie for security. It contains a random identifier, not your message. An abuse-prevention file stores a keyed hash of the connecting IP address and request times. Entries expire after an hour and are removed on the next submission. No analytics or advertising cookies are used by this website. Fonts on the home page are requested from Google Fonts, whose servers receive technical connection information.

If you switch between the light and dark look with the dot at the bottom of the page, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to me.

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and request portability where it applies. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Write to jan@kvetinovi.cz to make a request.

You can complain to a data protection authority, including the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection. No automated decisions or profiling are carried out using contact messages.

Links to my blog, GitHub, LinkedIn, Oracle and conference websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
